- In the Outline mode, click the “+” icon next to any node to bring up the Add Node modal.
- To bring up the Add Node modal in Author mode, click on the More ( ⋮ ) icon on any node and select + Add Node.
Note: The default node type selected is “Content Screen”. Depending upon your last selection, the option is retained.
- On the Add Node Modal, to create a new Content Node configure the following:
- Select node type as Content Screen
- Templates - can be used while creating the node. By default, the blank template is selected.
- Enter the Name of Content Node
- Teacher only - After publish to LMS this will not be visible to students automatically.

- Off (default)
- Basic edit access on LMS - Only Text editable in LMS native editor. Advance Frost editor feature not available in LMS.
- On
- Off (default)
- Additionally, on the Metadata tab users can add the KVP, Tags and Taxonomy.
- Click Add.
Note: In the Add Node modal, the name of the node is mandatory if it’s being created as a new node. If the node is being reused from the LOR, the name will be taken from the LOR object.
On navigating to Author or Preview mode from the top navigation, users will need to select a node to view its content.
All types of nodes can be created inside a folder, including a folder. Users cannot create or reorder a hierarchy under content pages or any other node type.
Users can continue performing actions or work on other nodes of the Course Outline while one node action(add, delete, reuse, edit) is in process.
