How to edit Global Objects in a content page
- From the Project, users can manage the course outline of the course.
- The global object can be identified using the Global LOR Object (
)icon placed beside the nodes.
Note: The global objects have references in LOR, hence, updating a global object and publishing the course will reflect and update the changes in LOR as well as all the other courses where the object is reused.
- To view the usage details of the Global LOR Object, click on the (
)icon
Note: If the object is having references in any projects, the list of projects will be displayed. Clicking the project will navigate the users to the project which the Global LOR Object is linked.
- To edit the node, users can select the node either in the Outline mode or Author mode.
- Select Dismiss to dismiss the global object message.
- Using the editor, users can edit/author the content.
- Click Save to save the changes.
- To edit the node, select the settings icon.
- Select Save.
Note: On navigating to Author or Preview mode from the top navigation, users will need to select a node to view its content.
Users can continue performing actions or work on other nodes of the Course Outline while one node action(add, delete, reuse, edit) is in process.
