Understanding the Analytics Dashboard
- Navigate to Analytics by clicking on the horizontal ellipses, which are located on the top left corner of the screen.
Note: On navigating to Analytics, users will land on the Analytics home page which is the Analytics Dashboard.
- From the Analytics Dashboard, you will find a report preloaded into view.
- In the filters, the date range that will be preloaded is 1st January of the current year to the current date. These can be changed as required.
- The data on the report will be, as follows:
- Organizations – count of organizations from which the courses have been accessed through the LTI. The number of organizations will be a link. Clicking the link will open the Organization Count page which shows a table with 3 fields as follows:
- Organization – Name of organization
- LMS count – number of unique LMS’s which are being used in that organization.
- Student Count – count of students in that organization.
- Organizations – count of organizations from which the courses have been accessed through the LTI. The number of organizations will be a link. Clicking the link will open the Organization Count page which shows a table with 3 fields as follows:
Note: The List of organizations on the Organization Count page will be sorted in descending order of number of students, where the organization which has the highest number of students will be on top.
- LMS’s – count of Unique LMS’s which are being used throughout all the Organizations. The LMS count will be a link. Clicking the the link will open the LMS Count page which shows a table with 3 fields as follows:
- LMS – name of LMS
- Organization Count – number of Organizations which are using this LMS.
- Student Count – count of students who are using that LMS.
Note: The list of LMS’s on the LMS Count page will be sorted in descending order of no of students, where the LMS which has the highest no of students using it, will be on top.
- Courses – the total number of courses that have been set up.
- Students – the total number of students across all organizations.
- Average Courses per Organization – average calculated as Total Courses/Total Organizations
- Average Students per Course – average calculated as Total Students/Total Courses
- Average Students per Organization – average calculated as Total Students/Total Organizations
Note: To hide/unhide the filters, click on the Filters button on the top right corner of the dashboard.
