How to Add a Node Comment in an Online Course
- In the Project, users can manage the Course Outline in the Outline mode and Author mode
- In the Outline mode, hover on the Node to view the comment icon.
- Click the comment icon to view the comment panel of the node.
- To add a node comment in Author mode, click on the More ( ⋮ ) icon on the folder node and select Comment.
Note: If comments already exist, a count will be shown on the icon. The count indicates the total comments on the TOC as well as the editor for the node.
- Click the Enter your comment text box to add a new comment.
- Provide the required information:
- Body of the comment
- Attach Reference (optional) – to attach files with a comment
- Severity
- Open (default)
- Need Clarification
- Fixed
- Verified
- Ignored
- Status
- Low
- Medium (default)
- High
- Blocker
- Tag Users (optional) – project user to which the comment is assigned
- Click Comment to add the comment to the node.
- On adding the comment a “Comment Added” confirmation message will appear.
- Click the close icon on the top right to close the comment panel.
Note: As soon as the comment is created, the assignee is notified on the registered email. Users can further add responses under a comment and change status and tag users.
On navigating to Author or Preview mode from the top navigation, users will need to select a node to view its content.
