How to Edit a Tool Provider
- Navigate to the Admin platform by clicking the horizontal ellipses at the top-left corner of the screen.
- On the Admin dashboard, select the LTI drop-down and click the Tool Providers option.
Note: A pre-registered tool can be modified, deactivated or even deleted as per the requirement.
- From the Tools list, click the Edit icon next to any tool to bring up the Edit Tool Provider page.
- You can edit the information that was added during creation as per the LTI version selected, including:
- For LTI 1.1
- Content Selection (launch) URL - If support for deep linking (content item selection) is enabled for LTI 1.1
- Tool Name
- Tool Domain
- Custom Params
- LTI Key
- Secret Key
- For LTI 1.3
- Tool URL
- Custom Params
- Login URL
- Launch URL
- Public Key Type
- Platform Public Key/Platform JWK URL
- Audience/Issuer
- Tool Keyset URL
- Access Token URL
- Authorization URL
- For LTI 1.1
Note: The LTI version selected while creating the tool provider cannot be changed. Only support for deep link can be enabled or disabled for LTI 1.1.
- Click the Save button to update the Tool Provider in the system.
- A notification will be displayed on successful tool updation.
