How to Author Multi-part Question
- On the Project Dashboard, click on the Menu bar and select All Assessments.
- On the Assessment Management screen, click the View button next to any assessment to navigate to the Assessment Question screen.
- Click Create New Question on the top right corner of the screen.
- Next, choose the question type. Select Multi-part from the dropdown menu.
- Click Confirm to open the Create Multi-part Question page.
Note: A Multipart question is built out of a number of individual questions having a common passage.
- On the Create Multi-part Question page, enter the required details:
- Question Title – to help you identify the question. The title is not displayed while previewing or rendering the assessment.
- Question Stem – the main question body that is displayed above the options
- Instruction Text – to help end users perform an action

Media – can be used to add a media file on the question details.
- Without media – (default)

With media – when selected, displays the Add media from Assets button which allows choosing media from the project repository or LOR.
- Click the Add media from Assets button
- Select a file
- You can search or apply filters to find the required image file.
- On selecting the file, click Add Selected

Questions –

Select Questions – to add questions from different assessments under the project.
- Click the Select Questions button
- Select an assessment from the dropdown
- Select the questions from the assessment by checking the box next to the question
- On selecting the questions, click Confirm
- Reorder – to reorder how the questions appear to the student
- Delete – to remove a question, you can click the delete icon to the right.

Select Questions – to add questions from different assessments under the project.

Feedback – allows you to add:
- Global Correct Feedback
- Global Incorrect Feedback
- Click Save to create the Multi-part question.
- On successful creation, a notification will be displayed on the screen.
- On the Assessment Question screen, click the Preview button to preview the created question.
