How to Upload Files into LOR
- Navigate to the LO Repository.
- Click Upload. There are 2 options available to perform this action:
- Upload Files– choose files from a local machine and upload them.
- Bulk Upload from Spreadsheet- use the sample spreadsheet provided and bulk upload “Reference Objects” into the LOR.
- Bulk Upload from S3 Folder- use the sample spreadsheet provided and bulk upload objects from an S3 folder path.
- Using Upload Files:
- Click Upload File to browse and upload files from your local system.
- Select single/ multiple files from your local machine
- Click Open to upload the selected files to LOR
- On successful upload, a success notification is displayed on the screen.
Note: Alert pop-up will be displayed if the user tries to switch platforms or Tenants while the upload is in process.
- Using Bulk Upload From Spreadsheet:
- Click Bulk Upload From Spreadsheet to browse files from your local system.
- Select the required spreadsheet (.csv, .xls or .xlsx) with details of the referenced object.
- Click Open to upload the selected files to LOR.
- Upload is in progress message will be displayed.
- Click the OK
- On successful upload, a success notification is displayed on the screen.
Note: To download a sample CSV format, click sample spreadsheet. A Rules tab exists in the sample spreadsheet which provides information on the data input.
- Using Bulk Import From S3 Folder:
- Click Bulk Import From S3 Folder
- On the Bulk Import From S3 Folder popup, the following options are available:
- S3 Folder Path- text box to input the S3 Folder Path
- Import- to confirm the transaction. Once selected, the pop-up is dismissed & upload starts in the background.
- Cancel - pop-up is dismissed & LOR page is displayed.
- Upload is in progress message will be displayed.
- Click the OK
- On successful upload, the assets from S3 will be listed in LOR.
Note: The process of importing objects usually takes some time. You will be notified by email once the import is complete. Also, you can check the import status in the Bulk Import Log.
