How to use an Audio in a content page

1. From the Project Dashboard, click the Content Node to open it in the editor.

2. Media options are listed on the left panel of the Editor and on the Media Drop-down of the Menu Bar.

3. Drag and drop the Audio option in the required section. Alternatively, select from the Menu bar.

4. The Audio option will enable you to upload/link an audio file, which will have only play and pause functionality.

5. You can insert audio files from the following options:

   • Project Repository
   • Learning Object Repository

   Upload from Project Repository

6. To upload from the Project Repository:

   • Select a file
   • Click Add Selected
   • To upload a file from your local machine, click the Upload button and select the audio file.

   Note: The audio file uploaded will not be added to the LO Repository, it will be stored in the project repository.

7. To upload from the Learning Object Repository:

   • Select an audio file (these files have already been saved to the LOR and hence are visible on this tab)
   • You can search or apply filters to find the required audio file.
   • On selecting the file, click Add Selected

8. Finally, click Save on the Editor to save the changes.

Note: In the Preview mode, a play icon will appear for the audio, which when clicked will play the audio. Only play and pause can be done with this single button.

On navigating to Author or Preview mode from the top navigation, users will need to select a node to view its content.
