How to use a Slideshow in a content page
- From the Project Dashboard, click the Content Node to open it in the editor.
- Select Widget from the Menu bar drop-down. Widgets are listed on the left panel and on the top bar of the editor.
- Next, select Slideshow from the drop-down list.
- Drag and drop the Slideshow Widget in the required section.
- The slideshow widget allows you to define and edit new labels/slides or reuse existing slideshow.
- Next, select Edit to edit a new slideshow or reuse an existing slideshow.
- On the Edit modal, provide information such as:
- Widget Title - to add a custom Widget title (by default: Slideshow)
- Label – label title
- Label Icon – click on the dropdown to choose an icon
- Description – Description of the label to be displayed after expanding it
- Asset – click Select Asset to upload assets in the label from the project repository or LOR.
- To upload from the Project Repository:
- Select a file
- Click Add Selected
- To upload a file from your local machine, click the upload button and select the file.
- To upload from the Learning Object Repository:
- Select a file (these files have already been saved to the LOR and hence are visible on this tab)
- You can search or apply filters to find the required image file.
- On selecting the file, click Add Selected
- To upload from the Project Repository:
- Add Label – click the “+” button on the top right to add labels
- Settings – Click the Settings button to configure:
- Navigation Option
- Arrow and Dotted (default)
- Dotted
- Arrow
- Animation Style
- FadeIn and FadeOut (default)
- Slide
- Autoplay
- No (Default)
- Yes – If selected, the Timer needs to be configured in seconds
- Navigation Option
- Click Save to save the changes.
- To reuse an existing slideshow, click Reuse Existing on the widget.
- On the Copy Widget modal:
- Select the Project from where you want to reuse the widget
- Select the Node of the project
- Select the Slideshow to be reused
- Click Continue to copy the widget
- After copying the widget, you can click edit to make changes to the widget
- Finally, click Save on the Editor to save the changes.
Note: Slideshow widget will be the same as slide line, except that Edit Slideshow will enable you to define the navigation option, animation style, and if you want the slideshow to autoplay or not.
On navigating to Author or Preview mode from the top navigation, users will need to select a node to view its content.
