1. From the Project Dashboard, click the Content Node to open it in the editor.

2. Media patterns are listed on the left panel of the editor and on the Media Drop-down of the Menu Bar.
3. Drag and drop the Audio with Control pattern in the required section. Alternatively, select from the Menu bar.
4. The audio with control pattern will allow uploading audio, and let the user control some functions such as 
   • Play
   • Pause
   • Slider to navigate to a specific section of the audio
   • Volume controls
5. Click the File button on the pattern to choose an audio file from the Project Repository or the Learning Object Repository.
6. To upload from the Project Repository:
   • Select a file
   • Click Add Selected
   • To upload a file from your local machine, click the upload button and select the audio file.

Note: The audio file uploaded will not be added to the LO Repository, it will be stored in the project repository

7. To upload from the Learning Object Repository:
   • Select an audio file (these files have already been saved to the LOR and hence are visible on this tab)
   • You can search or apply filters to find the required audio file.
   • On selecting the file, click Add Selected
8. Click the Settings button on the audio pattern to choose from:
   • Audio Player Theme
     • Black
     • Grey
   • Controls

     • Pop-up and download – to display the pop-up player and download MP3 options

     • Caption – to display the caption below the Audio Player.
   • Audio Description – clicking Attach shows up all .VTT files in the local asset repository and LOR that can be associated with the selected audio file.
9. Click Save to update the settings.
10. Finally, click Save on the Editor to save the changes.

Note: On navigating to Author or Preview mode from the top navigation, users will need to select a node to view its content.
