How to generate usage reports of selected taxonomy nodes across projects or assets
Overview: The coverage report (Standards Coverage report) consists of the usage details of the selected taxonomy nodes across multiple projects or LOR assets. It will help users identify the selected standards(Taxonomy) being covered across multiple projects/assets along with their occurrences and the project nodes
- From the Frost dashboard, click the Metadata tab on the top menu of the screen.
Note: If you are working on a project page, you must first navigate to the Frost landing page.
- On the Metadata dashboard, navigate to the Taxonomy tab.
- Under the Taxonomy tab, select the nodes or taxonomies.
Note: Selecting a parent will NOT auto-select its child nodes. Suppose a user wants to select all the child nodes which are under the root taxonomy, instead of expanding all nodes and selecting. In that case, the user can just select the root taxonomy and click on the “Include Child Node” modal to select Include child node.
- Once the selection is complete, click the “Generate Coverage Report” button.
- The “Include Child Node” modal appears with the following options:
- Proceed with selected nodes - The report will only include the selected nodes for the report.
- Include child nodes - The report will include the selected nodes and all its child nodes
- On successful report generation, a Coverage Report email will be sent to your registered email address.
- In the email, click on the Download Now button or alternatively copy the given URL in the browser to download the CSV file to the system. Users can also download the Report from Report Log.
- In case of failure, the user can view the failure report from the Report Log to understand the issues.
- The Report Log is available on the Taxonomy tab. This log displays details including
- Date & By – Generation Date and User Name
- Status – In Queue, Processing, Completed, Failed
- Report – Generated Coverage Report available for download
- Time Taken – Total time taken to complete the report generation process
