How to use a Showhide in a content page
- From the Project Dashboard, click the Content Node to open it in the editor.
- Select Widget from the Menu bar drop-down. Widgets are listed on the left panel and on the top bar of the editor.
- Next, select Showhide from the drop-down list.
- Drag and drop the Showhide Widget in the required section.
- The showhide widget displays a label and its description. The label can be collapsed and expanded to show the expanded title and description.
- The showhide widget allows you to define and edit a new label or reuse existing showhide.
- Next, select Edit to edit a new showhide or reuse an existing showhide.
- On the Edit modal, provide information such as:
- Widget Title - to add a custom Widget title (by default: Showhide)
- Collapse Label – label to be displayed when collapsed
- Expanded Label – label to be displayed when expanded
- Description – Description of the label to be displayed after expanding
- Click Save to save the changes.
- To reuse an existing showhide, click Reuse Existing on the widget.
- On the Copy Widget modal:
- Select the Project from where you want to reuse the widget
- Select the Node of the project
- Select the Showhide to be reused
- Click Continue to copy the widget
- After copying the widget, you can click edit to make changes to the widget
- Finally, click Save in the Editor to save the changes.
Note: On navigating to Author or Preview mode from the top navigation, users will need to select a node to view its content.
