How to use the Column Pattern in a content page
- From the Project Dashboard, click the Content Node to open it in the editor.
- Select Patterns from the Menu bar drop-down. Patterns are listed on the left panel and on the top bar of the editor.
- Next, select Columns from the drop-down list.
- The Column Pattern consists of a skeleton pair of columns that can be edited and authored.
- Drag and drop the column pattern in the required section of the content page. Alternatively, select from the Menu bar.
- By default, the column pattern adds 2 columns.
- Click the Settings icon on the top left corner of the column pattern to:
- Select Number of Columns - to set the width of the image
- Input Column Values - to set the width of the columns (sum of the values should be equal to 12)
- Click Confirm to update the settings.
- To delete a column, select the column and click the delete icon on the top left corner of the column.
- Sample Text will be present in the column. You can edit the text in the column as required.
- Finally, click Save on the editor to save the changes.
Note: On navigating to Author or Preview mode from the top navigation, users will need to select a node to view its content.
