Search Enhancements: Search Within, Relevance & Exact Match
LOR search is now equipped with three features to help users refine their search results. All three features work when a keyword/term is added to the search. The sorting dropdown in LOR has a new option, “Relevance”, added. If the search query contains data in the keyword/term field, results are auto-sorted by relevance. On adding a keyword/term, a “Search Within” or filter icon also appears. This contains choices to refine the search further to find the matching keyword/term within the “Title”, “Description” or “Metadata”. Based on need, users can choose one or more filters. A checkbox for “Exact Match” is displayed when the keyword/term is added. Choosing this will only display the results where the keyword/term exactly matches. If the same filters are frequently used for the search, the user also has the option to save the search - to execute multiple times. On keyword/term search, the option to “Reset Filter” is also available now. To know more about searching objects in LOR, refer to this article.
