Easy Tracking of Project Details for Each User Groups
Promoted the ability to track Project details associated with each User Groups directly from the User Groups list in the User option in Settings. A new column has been introduced in the list to show the number of projects that each user group is assigned to. On clicking on the count, a modal would be opened to show the project name, project type and role of all the projects that user group is assigned to (not editable).
Title Preview for Placeholder Block in Author Mode
While authoring Video, Vimeo Video, Kaltura Video, YouTube Video, Gadget, Audio and Audio with control, title of the selected resource would be displayed on the placeholder block in the Author mode instead of the actual URL of the resource for better identification and usability.
Metadata Alignment on TOC
The option to tag Metadata is now shown upfront on the TOC outline mode, i.e., it has been moved out from the Settings option (would be visible for each TOC node on hover). Metadata alignment modal with dedicated space for add/update/delete alignments (Key Value Pair, Taxonomy and Tags), would be displayed on click of the Metadata icon corresponding to a TOC node in the Outline. The functionality of aligning metadata still remains the same. It has only been separated out from Settings as an individual action now.
Placeholder Screen Between Direct Switch from Outline to Author/Preview
A placeholder screen has been introduced to be displayed while switching to the Author/Preview mode from the Outline mode without selecting any specific node from the TOC. The said screen has been conditioned to display the default Frost logo unless a course cover image is added.
Ability to Select LTI version for Canvas LTI Exports
Based on the configuration from Admin, during Export when a user chooses Canvas LTI, they will be able to choose the LTI version to export to. If 1.1 was chosen in Admin, by default Canvas LTI export will be for 1.1. Similarly if 1.3 was chosen, it will default to 1.3 - in both cases the user will not be asked to choose anything. If “Select during Export” was chosen in Admin, users will have the option to choose between LTI 1.1 or 1.3 during export.
