New Authoring Experience
With multiple feature enhancements, easier navigation, and improved user experience the New Editor is integrated into Frost Designer with an aim to help users utilize the Editor more effectively. Primarily, all tenants will have the Old Editor enabled. If users want to experience the New Editor, kindly request a sandbox from LearningMate Product Support Services.
Embed Content Fragments on page
A new type of object is introduced in the designer, the content fragment. A content fragment is a part of the content screen, which the user may want to reuse across multiple pages or multiple courses. In Frost Designer, the user is given the ability to add a content fragment created in the LOR as a widget. Just like other widgets, the user will be able to reuse any content fragment created in the LOR and preview it in the preview mode.
Description in Assessments
A description field has been added in assessments by virtue of which the user will be able to add a description to assessments. This description will be supported in IMSCC 1.2 Non-LTI export and Canvas Non-LTI export, along with Canvas deep publish.
