New Features
Onboarding Messages Release
When users log onto the Frost Explore application, they view welcome messages and directions or notifications to navigate through the application. This is extremely helpful for the first time users.
Every section has a separate help message, as listed here:
- Message for the Search Section: To search resources, use the search icon. To search from the repository, just enter a keyword and you’ll get a list of resources aligned to it.
- Message for the Tabs on the Landing Page: The tabs on the landing page are Subject, Grade, Language, and Academic Standards. Users can browse the Learning Resources that are aligned to the Subjects, Grades, Standards. Learning resources are curated, tagged, and aligned with various metadata to make the search easier.
- Message for the Get Help Option: As a user, if/when they need any help or have any query, they can click the ‘Click Here’ option to read about the Product manual or reach out directly.
- Message for the Filter Section: The Quick Search and Filter section helps users to find learning resources. They can use a variety of filters such as Standards, Subjects, Grade, etc. to narrow down their search. The Save Search feature is an easy way to continue filtering from where they left, creating different filters for each subject, and reusing them each time they want to use the platform.
- Message for the Resource Preview Page: One-Click Share to Google Classroom helps educators share a course, assignment, or learning resources with their students in the Google Classroom. The Download option allows the resource download for offline use and uploading it in any other LMS. Highlighting the bookmark feature allows bookmarking your favorite resource to revisit/access your bookmark list.
Preview Weblinks in iFrame
Currently, on the application, the weblinks cannot be previewed. On the Resource Preview page, links can now be previewed in the iFrame. Please note, users will not be able to preview certain links due to some technical limitations.
