What is the Content Auto Save feature?
Frost is now equipped with an automatic content auto-save feature, meaning the application will save content in real-time or after a specific interval as it is being created. This ensures full assurance of retaining authored content, as relying solely on manual saves may lead to data loss in case of a system malfunction or accidental browser reloads/closure before saving.
How does Content Auto Save Work?
The system will preserve and preview the last modified but unsaved state of content elements upon revisiting in Author/Edit mode. Users can choose to retain or discard unsaved changes, with options to save changes to the database.
Users will get a warning if they try to leave Frost without saving their work, so they can decide whether to save it. And if you do save it, you'll see the changes you've made since your last save.
We want to ensure everything you've done is saved properly, even if you haven't clicked the save button. So, with this feature, you can focus on your work without worrying about losing it.
