How to manage Custom Themes for the tenant
- From the Frost dashboard, click Building Blocks and navigate to the Themes tab.
Note: If you are working on a project page, you need to navigate back to the Frost landing page first.
- From the Themes tab, admins can manage the Course Themes.
- The Course theme page lists all the predefined default themes and custom themes uploaded (if any)
- On the Course Theme page, based on the permissions admins can view the following information and perform certain actions:
- Default - The default theme will be applied to Global Templates, Global Patterns, Create course page, Content Screens/Fragments created directly in LOR.
- Theme - Name and Thumbnail of the theme
- Type
- Basic - Predefined Default Themes
- Custom - Customized Themes
- Status (only custom themes) - Toggle button to change the theme status (
- Active -
- Inactive -
- Updated - Creators Username with Date and Timestamp
- Course Usage - Number of Courses in which the theme is applied
- Preview - to preview the theme in a course inclusive of all authoring elements.
- Edit (only custom themes) - allows the user to change the theme name, replace the theme course package as well and replace the theme thumbnail.
- Download - to download the specific theme package for user reference.
- Delete (only custom themes) - to delete custom themes if not used across the project
Note: Admin(s) will be available to delete or make custom themes inactive only if the Course Usage count is 0.
- To Search a theme, type a theme name in the search box and click the search icon to perform the search. Alternatively, you can also hit enter to start the search.
- Admins will be able to sort themes based on the following headers:
- Theme - Basis the theme name (A-Z ascending, Z-A descending)
- Type - Basis Type of theme - (Default/Custom)
- Status - Active/Inactive (ascending/descending)
- Updated - Basis the end user updated/modified by timestamp information
- Course Usage - Basis the usage count
