Revised navigation menu Advanced Editor
The ‘More’ menu has been renamed to ‘Insert’ across Content Screen, Assessment/Assignment/Forum Description, Templates, and Widget description. ‘External Tool’ menu item has been positioned under ‘Insert’ from ‘Widget’ across Content Screen, Assessment/Assignment/Forum Description, Templates, and Widget description
Author Widgets using Advanced Editor
The application has been equipped with the ability to author the following Widget Descriptions using the capabilities provided in the Frost Advanced Editor to support richer content across Content Screen, Assessment/Assignment/Forum, Description, and Templates. There would be no change in the
interactivity of the Widgets
Support of Advance Editor in widgets for Import, Export and Deep Publish
Widgets authored using Advanced Editor are now supported in
- Canvas LTI Export & Deep Publish
- Canvas Non LTI Export & Deep Publish
- IMSCC 1.2 LTI/Non LTI
- D2L LTI
- BBU LTI
- HTML Export and Import
Henceforth, if the user export the following package with widgets authored using Advanced editor must have the ability to preview the content in respective widgets pushed from Frost.
Course Status in Canvas
Courses would by default be in Unpublished state in Canvas post Deep Publish
