Capability to Duplicate Node on Outline
If the configuration to Duplicate Nodes is turned On for the tenant, users with permissions will be able to see a new icon “Duplicate” in the Course Outline. Users having node add/edit permissions will be able to perform the Duplicate action. Duplicate option can be used by users to quickly create a new node with the same content on the Outline. If any node was LOR referenced, it will be created as a new node. The content within the duplicated nodes will continue references as existing on the original. The ability to duplicate a node is enabled for Folders, External Tool, Content Screen & Resources only. If a folder is duplicated that contains the non-supported nodes (eg. assessment, assignment or forums), the process will fail.
Improvements
Performance optimization on Outline
Earlier, if multiple folders were expanded, then the operations like Add/Edit/Save or navigation between the Outline were quite slow. This has now been optimized such that if multiple folders are expanded, the operations will still be performant and not slow down user actions.
Spacing Capability on Editor
On the Editor, if 2 patterns or widgets do not have any space in between, then an icon to insert a space will show on the widget/pattern which is focussed. If a user adds/removes any spaces from the editor, the system will not auto-add any space. With the “Insert space” user can choose to add the desired spaces.
Bulk Tagging Enhancements - Select All
Previously in the Metadata Utility, Users had to select the metadata one by one. The ability to select all the metadata at once has been enabled. Users will have a separate check-box option for each metadata type like KVP and Taxonomy. When the checkbox is selected all the available KVPs or Taxonomy will be selected.
Bulk Tagging Enhancements - Email Notification for Failed or Skipped Nodes.
Previously in Bulk Metadata Tagging, users were not notified of the nodes which are skipped or failed in the Bulk Tagging Process. The ability to notify Users of the process which has failed or the nodes which are skipped or failed from the process has been enabled. Users will receive the details about the node and the reason for failing/skipping.
