Improvements
Ability to add Kaltura and Vimeo videos manually in Designer
Along with picking Vimeo and Kaltura videos from the LOR, the user will now have the ability to add Vimeo and Kaltura videos manually in Designer using the Patterns in the Editor. The user will have to enter the following fields in Designer (same as the fields that are present in LOR):
- Vimeo - Title, Asset Url, and details
- Kaltura - Title, Embed code, and details
Earlier, we had the ability to pick Vimeo or Kaltura videos from LOR but not add them manually, as we have for external tools.
Improvement in the “Add Users” modal
In the “Add users” modal, if the user enters those users or user groups in the search box that is already present in the project, the system will show an indication on the UI for the same. Also, if the user enters those users in the search box who are not present in that particular tenant, the system will show an indication for the same. Earlier, there was no indication on a search that the user is already added to the project via a Group.
Support of Point and Point range rubrics in Canvas Non-LTI Export
Point and Point Range rubrics are now supported in Canvas non-LTI export as well. This means that if a user Authors either of the two types of rubrics and takes a Canvas non-LTI export, the rubrics will render in Canvas, both in Canvas management and Canvas TOC.
Support of Point and Point range rubrics in Import from Canvas
Point and Point Range rubrics are now supported in import from Canvas to Frost. This means that if the user authors either of the two rubrics in Canvas and takes an import in Frost, that rubrics will render in Frost, both in management and in TOC.
Other Improvements
The duplicate course modal is dismissed as soon as the user hits duplicate. Duplicating a course from the course outline takes the user to the project dashboard and shows the “Duplicating” card.
