Viewing Comparison Report Between an Existing Taxonomy and its Updated Version
How to view a comparison report between an existing taxonomy and its updated version?
Note: As a Frost Align publisher, you can:
- View the summary/comparison between the taxonomy versions.
- View the summary of comparison of previously published versions.
- Make changes to published taxonomies and re-publish them.
- Compare any two versions of the published taxonomy.
- Compare one version of the taxonomy with the latest draft version of the taxonomy (unpublished version.)
As a Frost Align consumer, you can:
- Compare any two versions of the subscribed taxonomy.
- Check for a notification received via email or in-app application whenever a new version of the subscribed taxonomy is available.
- View the detailed comparison/summary of the updates.
- Subscribe the taxonomy while importing it through URL using options a. Import with no changes or c. Import and Update URIs to the current server, to receive notification and witness the comparison and summary.
As a Frost Align consumer, you can:
- Compare any two versions of the subscribed taxonomy.
- Whenever a new version of the imported taxonomy is available, you will receive a notification via email or the in-app application.
- View the detailed comparison/summary of the updates.
- Subscribe the taxonomy while importing it through URL using the various options (a. Import with no changes or c. Import and Update URIs to the current server, to receive notification and witness the comparison and summary.)
- Earlier it was only for internal servers.
- Currently, Frost Align subscribers can subscribe to external servers (such as, Open Salt, Georgia), and get version updates.
- The comparison report is now optimized based on the user facing metadata fields.
- If you are creating the taxonomy in the platform and publishing it, you can maintain different versions for published and subscribed taxonomy.
- As a Frost Align user, if you have imported a taxonomy from an external case server, and you have subscribed to that taxonomy then, you should be able to update the taxonomy version to the latest version.
- The comparison report is now optimized based on the user facing metadata fields.
